LSU burst their little bubble. To be truthful LSU's mistakes kept the game closer on the scoreboard than it really was.

What did we have? Like 145 yards in penalties with a 4th string defense. And we still beat their little armoured Knight asses.

3 straight penalties by Phillips. 45 yards. It was 40 - 24 with 4 minutes left. Likely ends up 47-24 if they have third and 25 from their 5 instead.

They were beaten badly.

No, LSU having to play water and towel boys at corner and safety was the only reason it was close. With Greedy and Fulton they score no more than 14, if that.
