LSU struggled on the road this season. Burrows threw at about 56% on the road. This series is going to go 1-1 both teams winning at home. The offense wasn’t that great. I wish LSU would have beat the Aggies like they really did so this match up would have happened in the sugar bowl. Just because I’m picking the university I attend over the university I grew up cheering for doesn’t mean I don’t like LSU.

Not my fault Texas has a better natural science college than LSU and Austin has a better economy and more job opportunities than New Orleans.

And me saying Myles Brennan? Was my slight at saying that Joe Burrows ain’t that good. He isn’t the Flynn or Mauk type of guy that will win LSU championships not beat Bama.

You don’t think LSU has that same entitlement with even more talent than Texas has? LSU underachieves ever since Saban put them back in football as a powerhouse. Easily has had the talent to win more than two national championships since 2003 but hasn’t. LSU and Texas should happen every year.

Well, that's rich!! My whole point is not that LSU has more talent. TU always has the talent, they just haven't done anything with it.

The only team that comes close to TU in entitlement is Notre Dame, and you see what just happened to them. Clarification, Alabama is way up there in the entitlement race at the moment, but they're backing it up pretty well right now.

Let's take a little closer look at your goofball claims.

Since Saban "brought us back as a powerhouse":

148/46, 80% winning pct, won another NC, Lost a NC in Bama rematch, 2 x 5 loss seasons.

TU since VY Natty:

108/60, 64% winning pct, 2 x 5-loss, 1 x 6-loss, 4 x 7-loss seasons

During the above span, here's the NC breakdown:

SEC - 9
ACC - 2
BG10 - 1
PC12 - 1
BG12 - 1

In fairness, one of those SEC titles was ours, the Big 12 was yours. The other 8 SEC National Championships were all won by teams that LSU plays EVERY DAMN YEAR. The NC we lost we had to play Bama TWICE.

Honestly, I'd like to play y'all every year because it would be fun and a great rivalry, but our gauntlet every year is tough enough, as you can see above. TU's major challenge during this span has been playing OU, whose claim to fame during the period has been having a prolific O, no D and feasting on an underachieving conference schedule before being shown the door by actual competition. TU's record in that series over this span stands at 6-8. Texas obviously gets up for the Red River Rivalry, but has gotten it handed to them by arguably the 4th or 5th-ranked P5 conference. Can anyone say underachievement???

Not saying we don't have a bunch of entitled LSU fans on teh Rant, but to equate LSU and Texas in entitlement/underachievement in the modern era is laughable at best but primarily makes the whole board wonder where you fall on the spectrum.

It’s pretty easy to tell where I’m from. Not hard to find me either.
You need to calm down young buck. All you’re doing is embarrassing yourself.

We get it, you’re a Longhorn. You found your way off Judge Perez, so I’m sure you can find your way to a Texas message board.

1) LSU will be better everywhere vs 2018, with possible push at LB and ST
2) LSU will finish 2018 higher ranked than Texas
3) Texas loses a ton on D.
4) Texas gets home field.

All told:
LSU 38
Texas 24

Found my way out of judge Perez? Nah, unfortunately there was thing hurricane called Katrina that hit the New Orleans and Mississippi Gulf Coast in 2005 that forced out to move to the north shore. But you lack the ability of complex thought to think of other insults than to hate on a place that my family is from. Like I said, I doubt you would say this to anyone in real life, so you should stay comfortably safe behind your keyboard.

I know the stats even going back to when Tennessee won the first BCS natty

You did forget Texas went to one more national championship game that they lost to Bama after they star senior qb got injured. I know the big 12 is weak and the SEC is stronger. I don’t hate LSU and still root for LSU to win every game, but I personally feel like the atmosphere in Austin and on campus is different than it was when Mac Browns tenure was ending. The Texas alumnus and current students are excited for LSU to come to town and that energy will be the reason why LSU loses in Austin.

Yeah, I thought maybe I missed one!

Looking forward to it too. I've heard they've been working hard on the game day experience, will be fun to check it out. Here's hoping for a great game.

2016 was the first year you could actually start drinking in the stadium, so that was nice. But tailgating still isn’t as good as tailgating in Louisiana for LSU or Saints games.

My brother and some LSU alumni buddies are coming to town and it should be fun. I sure will be going to both games.

UGA probably said the same thing before playing LSU. They have their own issues and none of that has anything to do with this game.

You little shite stains are funny.

What were you 5 when Katrina hit? I was in the streets saving lives.
You’re really nothing but an arse hair compared to me.
You grew up on the northshore, yet you made some whiny snot nose comment assuming I was from the northshore and being a pussy?

Go root for your Longhorns on another board, son.
