Urban Meyer only had 32 losses in 17 seasons

That’s remarkable. Those 17 seasons include short stints at Bowling Green and Utah as well, so it’s not like he’s always been at powerhouse programs.
I’m not a Meyer fan, and he deserves plenty of criticism for off the field behavior that occurred under his regime, but he is one of the best to ever coach at the collegiate level.

He's definitely one of the greatest in the history of the sport. I think we'll see him again though.

No doubt in my mind he will be back.

Great coach and deserves to be in the cfb hall of fame.
Not sure if I put him on the same level as Bryant, Osborne, Bowden, Saban, Hayes but he is definitely in the discussion.

You can't argue with the results, but he's an overall terrible person with a win at all costs attitude.
So it makes sense he will stay at OSU. I'm guessing he will be the coach in hiding.

He definitely is on the list. You can make the argument that he's the best of all time even though I think it's Saban

I don't know how you couldn't. Phenomenal success and I think its more impressive that he did it at 4 programs. Likely to be 5+ programs when it's all said and done.

I mean he's behind Bryant and Saban and Hayes IMO.
same # of titles as Osborne, more than Bowden (although Bowden built an entire program).
His win % is better than all 5 of those you named I think (I'm not sure but I think he's #3 all time behind a couple of guys from WAY back in the day)

I Would agree that he belongs.
Only way he is off is if some Paterno-style scandal would come out, Still amazes me how his legacy was destroyed (and deservedly so).

I mean, brain masses are debilitating.
ETA:
Maybe he isn't an a-hole. Maybe due to his health issues, Urban realizes how limited his time was and made the most of it.

I think there’s an off chance he’s LSUs next coach.

If OSU isn’t on probation in 2012 he has one more title and Saban has one less

He got out of Fla as soon as he lost Tebow....and knew Saban was going to tap that a$$ yearly.
Played Dabo 2xs and lost both..... who can forget 31-0 and Taji Boyd beat him so meh.

Inarguably, and his off the field stuff will likely underrate somewhat how good he was on the field. Make no mistake about it, though, he was a fantastic coach.

This Brett Favre retire / unretire nonsense he’s been pulling lately, though, is annoying as frick.

Let's not forget that not too long ago Clemson was known for crapping the bed on an annual basis.
