Watched half of episode 4 on my lunch break today. I really hate Luke. Acutally that may be harsh, if he was a mutual friend or I met him at a bar or somethign I'm sure I'd like him just fine but I hate him in the context of this show. He's just totally wrong for it. I hate watching his scenes because there is just ZERO chemistry between him and kate at all.

-He offered to sleep on the couch their wedding night. What!?? Once again I think he might be gay, that simply isn't a normal, rational response an adult would have in this situation. Even if 1)he is woefully inexperienced talking to girls 2)he finds kate horrenedously unattractive...you woudl still think he would plan to sleep in the same bed. She had to basically force him to.
-I can't remember the exact words but she essentially gave him the green light for physical relations that night and he didnb't really seem to care.
-He's being incredibly selfish so far on the costa rica trip. From the minute that was known as the destination is was "OMG THEY HAVE SLOTHS". Non stop sloth talk and the first day all they've done is walk around a zoo for him. Kate looks miserable and clearly doesn't want to be there and he hasn't asked her once what she wnats to do or what she would like.
-The major issue I think between these 2 is they are both VERY introverted and shy people, putting 2 of those types together is either a grand slam or a disaster and I think this is a disaster. I feel so bad for kate, mainly because I think she's hot and she could/should easily be able to do better IRL.

Sorry for only focusing on them but at my stopping point of the ep those were the only 2 they really showcased so far on the honeymoon.

-I do think kristine/ken(?) are overall really good together but this whole "you must workout" thing is a bad omen. I've personally been in a relationship like that and lemme tell you that resentment is gonna start building quick if she doesn't let it go, or if he has no desire to adjust. Other than that they seem really happy though.
-Like I said earlier I think jasmine and her guy are so far the most well-matched. They just seem to really hit it off and be in a groove.
-AJ and stephanie at the beginning seemed like a home run but her comments about being paired wiht a similar alpha/dominating personality gives me a small pause. So far so good for them and they both genuinely seem ecstatic but granted it's been like 2 or 3 days. Having 2 dominant personalities, similar to the opposite situation of kate/luke, can either be perfect or bad news. Stephanie's personality thus far seems like she enjoys being the dominant one so I'll be interested to see how she adjusts to taking a backseat.
