Yes and no. I find the cortisol, sleep, and weight loss connection to be somewhat tenuous.

I mean hell at SERE school students go 28 days on like 12 hours of total sleep. Never heard of anyone not losing weight myself included.

Idk. Something about my body and working nights. Every time I go on nights, it’s typically for a year or two. Every time, I gain weight. When I get back on days, the weight comes off. It’s frustrating.

Have you listened to Mathew Walkers talks on sleep? He makes a compelling case for sleep being the most important factor in health and future predictor of disease. Talks about sleep deprivation and bad food choices, paired with impaired insulin/ glucose metabolism, a viscous cycle.
