Wrong. I have sold several items on CL and have never had an issue. If you want to be specific, its a North Baton Rouge problem. If you want to be general, its an inner city problem in most metropolitan areas in this country.

It is a Craigslist thing to a degree, as there are a lot of set up robberies off of these, especially where expensive items like electronics are involved.

Scotlandville just raised the odds of it happening compared to other parts of town.

I disagree. This can happen anywhere. People in North BR can easily drive to the Mall of Louisiana to rob you. You're likely still just meeting in a parking lot somewhere.

I'm glad you haven't had any problems, but it's an established fact that criminals use Craigslist to setup opportunities to rob people.
