Maybe the same kind of trouble Alabama players get with a gun and drugs in a car.

Yep only a matter of time till the news officially breaks. No question that this incident occurred involving CEH. Just waiting on official details at this point.

Having a sketchy firearm is one thing. Using a sketchy firearm to kill someone is much more serious.

Y'all are so wrong about this.

"Ooohhh, scary Gun!"

Justifiable Homicide in Louisiana makes no mention of the weapon used and how it was obtained, assuming a weapon was used at all. If the firearm was obtained illegally and possessed illegally then that's a separate charge he would face. Unless he's a convicted felon or the firearm was stolen, there's no reason to think that the firearm would have been possessed illegally anyway.

People need to get this shite out of their head that most firearms are illegal or the possession of firearms are illegal or that most people that possess firearms are possessing them illegally. That's an extremely small percentage of people holding firearms at any given moment. This mentality feeds into the "guns = bad" agenda.

Interesting that they used “student athletes” instead of football players. I wonder if a basketball player was involved?

If Clyde was robbed and used a legal gun in self defense he’s good to go, no issues for him according to LA law. Not sure why y’all are acting like this is life ruining for him.

Self defense or not if the gun he used is not “legal” then he could be in some big trouble.

Unless it was stolen or a full automatic, it was legal. People fan buy any gun from anybody as long as the serial is clean.

Article was updated, the victim was not an LSU athlete, the two being questioned (have not been arrested) were.

It amazes me how many people don’t realize how many citizens they interact with throughout the city are legally carrying concealed. People would shite themselves if they knew that they’re surrounded by a lot more guns than the ones they see on a cop’s belt.

I agree it's not good for the departed or his cohorts. They can potentially face "felony murder" charges if they were in fact attempting an armed robbery. Hopefully it was a clean shoot, and CEH will be hailed as a here. This is still America!
