Agreed. It’s pretty much the only part of the city that lacks character. I understand people from New Orleans view it as a status symbol of sorts to live there But as someone who didn’t grow up in the city Ive never had the want to live in lakeview at all.

Bingo. Maybe me being a transplant is why I feel how i do. If me and my wife are going to drop coin, I want to live uptown

B, Lakeview was different post K

There are a few holdovers but a lot of first time home buyers from Jeff Parish and transplants from elsewhere

Pull up Zillow, look at all the houses for sale and how long they’ve been sitting. Look through the pics and lol that they’re all asking $200+ per sq
