Jeff Bezos just looks suspicious. He might be colluding with Chinese nationals to lobby for better trade deals. I bet we can get the money for the wall by tying him up in court. Hell, he might even offer up Prime Shipping on the materials.

Prosecuting somebody for tax evasion is a "shakedown racket"?

Why, yes...yes it is, when the prosecution is selective.
Al Sharpton has owed millions for years.
He was never even questioned.
Why do you suppose that is???

Great response. You really cleared that up for us. We all now agree with you that it wasn’t a shakedown

In our country, we investigate crimes. Not people. That isn’t what happened here and you fricking know it. But you don’t care. You’re all in on the police state. Own it

He wasn’t accused of tax evasion and then investigated. He was investigated for being a campaign manager for Donald Trump and they found tax evasion from 10 years ago. Which they then tried use as leverage against Trump

Yep, commodog is misguided. Easily happens to the less intelligent.

I'm glad you think it's a good idea for the government to investigate people before a crime is known, bust into their private residences and then search for any proof they can use on you.
All leftists are big state totalitarians

Wow, we should give unlimited budgets and investigative power to multiple special councils so they can investigate what everyone has done in the last decade so it can pay for itself. I wonder how much wrong doing they could find if they were given unlimited access to anything they wanted.

It's too bad that the government doesn't already have an agency to track down tax evasion that wouldn't cost the taxpayers any extra? Wait!

Trump has liberals on this board:

-Supporting the NSA
-Supporting FISA
-Supporting asset forfeiture
-Arguing that equal protection isn't a civil liberty

The greatest mind frick in human history.
