Have either one of us written the word Bama lately?

I wasn’t asking for specific names. Hell, even Hofstra could rattle off a few names if they needed. The joke was more regarding the starved sample size than the existence of any.

“Charles Anthony Tillman, nicknamed Peanut, is a former American football cornerback, who is currently a United States Federal Bureau of Investigation agent. He played college football at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft.”

Notice the name of the university

Proper Use of the University's Name: University of Louisiana at Lafayette® has been the formal and official name of the University since 1999. Please use it in first reference to the University in text. UL Lafayette may be used as an abbreviation to refer to the academic institution when clarification is necessary.

How to Legally Refer to the School

The school even has a page instructing people to refer to it as “University of Louisiana at Lafayette.” Sounds like you’re referring to a school that doesn’t exist.

Well you just called us LSU (as does everyone else on the planet), but it’s officially LSU Ag and Mech. Just doesn’t bother us anywhere near as much, friend.

They’re so mad that they’ve successfully won the name game. Why the hell does it bother you people so much? It’s so pathetic and makes LSU fans look stupid.

I could care less what USL calls themselves they will always be USL until they become a brand. LSU is a brand. Louisiana as a sports brand is like, " WTF is Louisiana are you talking about LSU”??

Same with UCF until they put on their big boy underpants and consistently play and beat name brand teams in the regular season. Talk only gets you so far. No excuses go play a real schedule. No one knows any of the teams you beat this year.

Doubtful, I don't think they get included in the rankings like that without having a campus. According to Wikipedia they have an enrollment of 142k.
