I thought I remember them getting hit with a bunch of lawsuits. Maybe these newer small time companies are too under the radar to get hit with these frivolous lawsuits or maybe the leftists just went after Remington because they're a big company and have lots of money.

CNBC did an hour long special on the 700.

I remember back in the 70's when the my dad would go on dove hunts to Mexico. A few of the people with him were shooting the 1100. He came back complaining about the gun not being able to handle the high volume of shooting they did. That's how I ended up with the S&W 1000.
