People bow hunt them but it is a really tough hunt. I shot it with a solid copper bullet 180 grains and found 2 bullets in the hide on the opposite side with no pass though and no blood. The blood pooled came out of his mouth. I have seen them shot with .375’s ,300 ultra mag and .338’s with no pass through and no blood trail.
