Uh JBE is the incumbent here in a bright arse red state and he's the one that has to defend his tax and spend track record against two conservatives that will likely not mud sling and attack each other like it's 2015.

That's the biggest problem for JBE.

He's tied with one of them and can't get above 50% against the other one and this campaign has even really started in full yet with ads on TV and mail, barnstorming around the state and debates.

Louisiana has a history of electing Governors that has come out of nowhere like Dave Treen, Blanco, Buddy Roemer and JBE.

No democrat has won reelection as governor since the 70s.

Louisiana is not as red as people think it is. Economically speaking, we are very liberal. JBE hasn't pushed any pro gay or anti Catholic policies so the same Republicans that voted for him before will likely vote for him again. I just hope Abraham or Rispone hit him hard on threatening to cancel LSU football.
