If USDA Rural Development offers construction loans, then probably that. They finance homes in LP.

We’re using Whitney currently. Gonna close at the end of the month. One time close. It’s been pretty straightforward, but looking back at it, the fees they charge are on the high side.

There are dozens of mobile home lenders in Livingston. I would try pitting them up against each other for the lowest rate.

I used GMFS' one time close construction loan. It was cheaper than any of the other one time close loans I could find and they are really easy to work with. Draws are really fast. Deposits were wired in my account less than 24 hours after I requested an inspection and draw.

I was a skeptic at first, but Quicken Loans was top notch.

What do you need a construction loan for with so many DR Horton homes on the market?
