Need to earn #7. Can't give it to someone that has never played a snap for LSU before *cough* Giles *cough*. Can't become a recruiting tool.

Interestingly Noah Cain has made it clear he will wear #7 wherever he plays.

I know we got Emery so that doesn't matter,but you do make a point.

Agreed.

...unless we get ourselves another Leonard Fournette type. That's the exception. Could happen again another time or two this century.

So Fournette shouldn't have worn #7?

Stingley is that level of recruit and to me it's his if he wants it.

As much as I love Stingley as a prospect...did we learn nothing from the Giles debacle this year?

By that logic Leonard Fournette and Patrick Peterson shouldn't have worn number 7 then. Because both of them wore it from day 1.
