Clemson is in their 4th straight CFP, but haven't had an OL player drafted in 3 years

Their last OL draft pick was Isaiah Battle in 2015.

Granted, they've had some talented teams elsewhere, but I find that fact to be pretty incredible. Their offensive success despite a stout OL is impressive.

Really interesting point, actually.

1. Great defense
2. Great QB play
3. Really good scheme
4. shite conference

The ACC is abysmal.

Clemson was rendered incompetent against Alabama last season. BARELY could move the football.

We don't know how good their offense is this year either.

how many guys were draft eligible?

just looking at their participation report, 4 of the 5 guys they have now are multiple year starters. Their OT Mitch Hyatt has started 55 career games, for instance. Thats 4 years.

Watson definitely had a knack for evading pressure (still does) to cover for the team's biggest weakness in those games.

Hyatt should go in the top 3 rounds this year, but that has been the area of greatest weakness on the recruiting trail under Dabo. I expect John Simpson to get drafted in the later rounds next year, and possibly Cervenka.

RT will get exposed if we play Bama.
