Right through the heart of Texas. Couldn't be a better way to get small town America involved in this moment of history; the same people who are so important to republicans. And enormous crowds lining the route is a beautiful sight to see.

The worship of past presidents in this nation is gross.

Hundreds of people lined streets in downtown Houston as the motorcade came through this morning. Was a great moment to witness.

I remember seeing him at the BR airport on one of his last campaign stops before his loss in 92. The writing was on the wall but the college republicans were asking people to go and fill in the crowd. He had a good life.

Yep, we just got back. Stood in the rain (light) and watched as history passed me by. Truly amazing moment. My grandson was really impressed. Caught a glimpse of a U. S. Navy Honor Guardsman keeping vigil over his casket.

He's home now, with Barbara and Robin and his ancestors. Lucky guy.

Well done, good and faithful servant.

Amazing. There's nothing but rural communities in 4141's 70 mile odyssey between Spring and College Station. But, wherever you went, to Magnolia, or Hufsmith, or Todd Mission, or Navasota there were thousands of people waiting at the tracks giving a final farewell to a great man and who will be judged in retrospect to have been a great President.
