Frankly, I have never seen a game in which yards, not points was the deciding factor.

To be a top-tier SEC program you have to average 30+ points per game in SEC play to win the conference. The Tigers should be better in 2019 w established skilled position players and hopefully a better offensive line. I agree that LSU did quite well at the skilled positions in 2018 considering we had very little experience from the previous year. The offensive line was certainly a disappointment but all in all I give the offense a B+. 2019 should be much improved. The DEFENSE will need to play well once again for the Tigers to have a shot. OFFENSE will be fine. Ensminger just needs to make some gutsy calls at crunch time to keep the defense OFF the field and secure victory!!!!!! Geaux Tigers!!!!

Totally agree.
I think 30 pts or slightly above should win most games, or we have a defense problem. That's about 1 TD per qtr

The big question is "why was Greedy even asked this question?" Wasn't he there for an award? Why even bring Alabama into the picture?

I'd get down with this statement if we werent ranked last in the SEC on offense w/ the fourth highest paid coaching staff.

Yes he was. Sorry to break it to you. Actually I’m not sorry. Trying to explain the truth to you people is exhausting.

Greedy will be more Tiger than you’ll ever be.

He's right no matter how he said it.

I agree to a certain degree, but I think the defense needs to look at themselves in the mirror some as well. If we were the #1 overall defense in cfb, then I would completely agree.

It is easy to deflect and say the blame goes to the offense, but true leaders own it and figure out what they can do to improve. IMO the offense did enough to win the aTm game.

I only interpret it as being exactly what he said. It wasn't allegorical or hyperbole. It wasn't a comment to be spun.

We haven't an offense that can at least stay competently competitive with any semblance of consistency. Alabama (N$) revamped their offensive philosophy several years ago and now are the most high powered offense in CFB. It was scary enough having to always know you're fighting Alabama's great defense both in recruiting and on the field... But now we're fighting the great offense as well.

N$ gets it. He's stubborn but not to stubborn to adapt. And now he runs a program that is the most dominant on both sides of the ball in recent history. And the program has continuity. Yet, LSU cannot seem to find a coach that does more than talk about offensive changes. It's perplexing and frustrating.

Oh for christ's sake, Some of you are the most insufferable pussies I have ever witnessed.

He was asked the question point blank...the frick else you want the kid to do? He told the truth and I'm glad he did. I'm tired of this head in the sand culture we have at LSU where we would rather not address the real issues and/or make excuses. Our problem has and will always be on offense until we make a real change and he addressed the issues in 1 sentence.

Some of you need to check yourselves.

Except get one first done with 2 minutes left that would have prevented aTm from ever even getting the ball back.

Plus that last florida drive where it's 20(or 21)-19 and the offense needs to drive and kick a FG to win and burrow throws a pick 6.

The lsu offense lost lsu 2 games and was complete shite in the bama game.

So your Opinion is completely wrong.

Pretty hard to sustain all year with your offense ranking in the 100's all year, baw. That D played hard with multiple guys out and at the end of a season full of being on the field too much much.

The defense played very well this season when you consider our best pass rusher went out in the first game

I’m confused, our offense has been the weak link on this chain for years while coaches get paid a ton to coach this unit. The kid spoke the truth, you think those players don’t see the issue?

No matter how you interpret it , it was classless. Most all ex players are great ambassadors for LSU. Regardless of what their true feelings may be.
