There is no way LSU is going to can "O" if he has a bad season in '19. No...way...Jose'! You're delusional (or crazy) if you think next year is make-or-break for Orgeron.
Why wouldn't it be? That'll be the third full year under his leadership. Hate to break it to you, but a win against UCF in Arizona is not a guarantee. We could very well be Auburned. If he loses 3-4 games next year (which is possible) LSU will have the following records under O:
2017 9-4
2018 9-4
2019 9-4/10-3
That would be 9.3 or 9 wins per year, 4 losses to Bama, no CFP, and no trip ATL. We fired Miles for averaging 10 wins a season. What has changed that 10 wins under Miles was unacceptable, but 9 with O is just fine?
We have one of the highest paid coaching staffs in the country. 9 wins is not acceptable. Period.

I've been saying this since the pairings were announced and Tiger fans were implying that UCF is not a worthy opponent; the Knights will bust our arse if we take them lightly.
However, Orgeron is not going anywhere after next year. Sorry to disappoint you. Miles was here long enough to have made changes, which he promised but never fulfilled. Les Miles' stubbornness got him fired, not necessarily his won/loss record. If LSU's offense falters next year and "O" doesn't make changes to staff, philosophy, or both, then he'll be in warm water.
