That's the problem. The defense laid an egg because they're expected to pick up all the slack because the offense needs a semi-miracle to get to double digits against Bama. Russilo was talking about when he was on the sideline and when Bama scored before half to make it 16-0, a LSU defensive great standing next to him said " Game over". How many other people had that exact thought too? If it's game over when the opposition gets up two scores with half the game left, the offense is the one laying the egg.

If the Rant has taught me anything it's that Greedy isn't a real Tiger, and if he doesn't like the offense he should go root for bama.

Greedy won't go down as one of my favorite tigers. The past week made me not like him that much. Doesn't seem like he cares about LSU that much

So why don't players just strt sitting out in high school playoff games bc they could get hurt and lose out on future money? These kids have no sense of loyalty anymore. There's no such thing as playing for your teammate's and school or state when it comes down to it. Most of them are in it for themselves alone and decision's like this show that. There never was this fabled “loyalty” that you all are pining for. Back then, there were no huge signing bonuses for 1st and 2nd round draft pics. Most players had to have a second job on top of the NFL. The incentive has changed, not the players.
