I’m heading out with a couple friends for the weekend. Thought maybe we could get some people together for football Sunday or Saturday and pregame somewhere? Geaux Tigers!

I'm flying out next week and staying at NYNY.
Haven't thought past getting to the casino yet.

This is not as good a St. Mary's team as they have had in the past (last year they went 30-6) they are only 4-4, with losses to Ms State, Harvard, Utah State, and UC Irvine. Uc Irvine is their only "bad loss". They are pretty good and the best comparison for another team I can give is think Iowa basketball not Gonzaga.
Still will be great experience for LSU for any tournament play, short rest and a long trip away from home against a quality out of conference team that they will have little info on like common opponents or style of play or AAU connections. They are a solid team and very very well coached

Yep. It was a solid reason to make a trip back home

St. Mary's isn't bad. They have a lot of Aussies and State blew a lead and let them back into it late. Luckily we came away with a win.

I think LSU SHOULD win but never know. Team is still trying to find its identity a bit. Should be fun to be in sin city for a couple days. I’ll be hanging around Caesar’s as their sports book is pretty awesome. Hope to see a lot of people there.

A group of 5 of us are going. Leaving out of New Orleans Thursday coming back on Monday so we can stay and watch the nfl games on Sunday. We are staying at the aria.

I would have went to this, I live in Arizona now.
But I'm leaving the next day to go back to Louisiana.
I won't be back until after the Fiesta Bowl either
LSU basketball and football are both playing within driving distance of me in the span of a couple weeks, in an area they rarely play in, but a trip that has been in the works for several months got in the way.

We should organize something. I’m sure there’s a decent sports bar in a casino near the arena.

Beerhaus is right next to the arena. Nine Fine Fisherman is in the NYNY
