I see a lot of batted balls from Raekwon Davis. Murray is tiny.

I agree with what I think is the spirit of your point which is:

The only way to beat Bama this year is by out scoring them. Unless you are throwing up at least 35, it ain’t happening.

UGA was on the way and stalled big time.

All I heard about was OU and Mayfield. They put up 7 pts in the second half against UGA. They had a senior, #1 overall draft pick, Heisman winning QB.

Once UGA adjusted to the tempo it was over.

Nobody respects the fake stats in the BIG 12.

Do it against teams with NFL defensive talent until then the whole Big 12 is getting the UCF treatment. We don't believe you.

45 vs Bama
34 vs Tenn
31 vs Tenn
35 vs Auburn
48 vs UGA

just bc team defense isn't good doesn't mean there are not good individual players

I watched the first season but didn't ever catch the last one with the FSU/FAU QB.

I was pretty impressed with that Oklahoma LB.

He really stood out.

Murray would have torn up the Clemson secondary.

Clemson is lucky to play ND in the semi

None of those were impressive. 2013 and 2014 was the least talented Bama defense of the Saban era. They were lit up multiple times that year specifically against A&M with Johnny Football and Auburn in the kick 6 game. Nobody cared about that Sugar Bowl. Nothing special about that. 2 other teams had already dropped 40+ on Bama when it mattered. Bama also had 5 in that game. With 5 turnovers hell Ole Miss scored 40+ on a great Bama defense in 2015.

They scored 31 against a trash Tennessee team in 2OT and 34 against an even worse UT team. 4 other teams dropped 34 or more on Tennessee that same year. Nothing special about that.

Auburn was beat up in the Sugar Bowl and couldn't score. They shouldn't have even been in the Sugar Bowl.

7 offensive pts vs UGA in the 2nd half and lost.

We have all seen all world OU offenses that scored 50,60 and even 70 points held to 30 or less. Hell we have seen them held to less than 20 all by teams with defensive NFL talent.

Dude if Jake Fromm and the RBS can beat OU and Baker last year Mac Jones could probably play this one and the Tide still take it.

You do realize Murray had a better year than Baker

Bama will win but OU is going to score a good amount of points

Once Bama forces them to put 2 or 3 times its over
Don't have the faith that OU can make Bama to punt 3+ times

but OU defense has made plays in their two biggest games this year.

I wouldn't say UGA's offense is better, but Georgia's offense is pretty legit. Ranked 3rd in S&P+ (OU is 1, Bama 2, UGA 3, tOSU 4) so Georgia's offense is up there too, although not as good as OU's.

On the other hand OU is 89th in S&P+ defense. Alabama may literally only need to get 2-3 stops on defense. Bama should be able to do that.

I'm not saying these guys aren't good, but looking at solo tackle numbers doesn't tell you that much. Can just as easily mean these defenses are so bad they never get off the field and rack up a bunch of tackles on successful offensive plays.
