The committee will have a hard time explaining 4-6

If you emphasize conference championships, or you emphasize fewer losses, then you put OU and tOSU 4 and 5. If you push those two things aside and go with who has been more dominant and wins the "eye test" for the team that looks like the best, you put Georgia 4th and the other two 5 and 6. I can't imagine the gymnastics you use to put OU 4, UGA 5, and tOSU 6. That seems crazy. Whichever way you pick them, Oklahoma and Ohio State are next to each other and Georgia is either ahead of them or behind them.

He just explained it, and it was a clear contradiction. He said there was no team unequivocally better, which means you go to the one loss conference champ...yet they moved Ohio State to 6th. There is no consistency.

It's a little inconsistent, but OU had a 3 point loss they made up for against the same team

OSU got blasted by a very, very mediocre team

UGA had a better loss than OSU and another loss to #1 which doesn't make up the balance, IMO

He said Oklahoma, Georgia, and Ohio State were basically even.

So according to the committee I guess Ohio State and Oklahoma are almost as good as Alabama.

who really cares if you are #5 or #6? One is first loser and the other is second loser.

3-6. If conference championship matters then why the hell is ND in?

Congrats on the National Title Bama. I’m going to pull an Auburn and root for you guys. I hope you win every fricking game by 5 TD’s.

Seems like their criteria changes every single year. Every year they look at it differently

Maybe the preference given to conference champs only comes into play with ranking the top 4, and after the top 4 it’s just resume against resume period.
