Just don't believe the quoted price. The "extra charges may apply" is pretty steep from what I remember.

I have a black car service/driver that I have used repeatedly and can highly recommend. I’m hesitant to post his info here as it goes direct to his cell. Post your email and I’ll send it to you if you are looking for this option.

From the city to either airport, I find shuttle service to work the best. LaGuardia and JFK are hard by mass transportation. I usually just google and pick the one with the best quote. Never had a problem, but I couldn’t say which ones I used cause they were that non descript.

I just booked an SUV for $115 from JFK to our Times Square hotel through Carmel. That was the with tolls and tip included, for 5 of us.
I believe taxi ride is $52 but doesn't include tip and tolls.
We are flying out of Newark so going to take the train from Penn Station to that aiport. That'll cost $13/person, so $65. I figured after we get some subway experience under our belt, we can do that on our way back, but i wasn't lugging 2 kids and 2 women with retarded luggage through the subway for the first time in their life right when we landed their.

Newark is easy by train out of Penn Station. jFK not so much.
The car service is the best way to go. Never had a problem.

We always use Carmel, and it’s much better than Uber/Lyft/cab, IMO.

You still have to take the air train from Jamaica station to JFK.
No big deal when your young or traveling alone. Through in a travel weary family and mass transit gets harder.
