Not really. If she called him the N word, she's obviously very wrong for that.

Words don't excuse violence. They can both be wrong here. If she called him that word and he attacked her, they both are.

You can deal with racism a lot of ways beyond physical violence.

You don’t think a video of a man knocking down a woman and trying to beat the shite out of her while being held back is that bad? Are you from like somewhere in the Middle East?

I mean, its bad, but its not Ray Rice bad.

He pushed her, then pushed his friend that basically tripped the girl causing her to fall after she punched him in the face. Then he gave her a half-arse weak kick at the end that kind of tipped her over. Definitely wasn't some hard kick to the ribs or something that I was expecting.

He didn't haymaker her, knock her out, then drag her lifeless body around.

Sure, you never physically harm a woman. But this is not a career ender, especially if he says she was hurling racial slurs at him.

Ok, but they did stop him. He can say he was just trying to yell at her.

Really tough to prove intent in the court of law.

It looks bad, but his friends saved his arse by not letting him act on his emotions.

When you read that he knocked a woman to the ground and kicked her, you imagine a lot fricking worse. He didn't even directly knock her down and the kick was a joke.

ETA:

Don't confuse this with me defending him. Its pretty despicable, its just not as bad as I had thought and not in the same stratosphere as Ray Rice or Joe Mixon.

and that the chiefs and the league office undoubtedly were aware of this
this as in the video or this as in the incident?

I think people overestimate how competent this league is. I have my doubts that they knew about this video.

Fine I’ll say it... I really don’t see it being that bad..

She hit him first, then gets shoved to the ground... unless the video was slowed down, I don’t even think he really kicked her hard, more like shoved her with his foot

Just an instagram whore tryin to get paid IMO. Could be wrong, it’s happened before

Someone at TMZ needs to be ‘brutalized’ for that click bait headline.. I was expecting some Mixon/rice/jaylon Smith type of hit

Yeah on Twitter they were making it seem like a ray rice thing it wasn’t though. There’s still no excuse to try and fight just one girl out of plenty over words especially if you’re a built nfl player.

If the team saw this months ago, seems like they felt the same way.
Nah, they just assumed the video wouldn't be made public.

If it were made public in February, Hunt would have absolutely been disciplined.

This isn’t the court of law

From a moral and ethical standpoint, trying to beat the shite out of a woman is just as bad as actually doing it....

No, its really not. Because you don't know for sure he would've actually beaten the shite out of her.

If he was swinging punches at her face and missing, that would be proof he was trying to beat the shite out of her and failed.

An MVP would know better than to let a woman-abuser start at RB.
