What does gauchos comment have to do with bawcomville? 99% of the people at the parade will probably be wearing camo

For the uninitiated, Bawcomville /Brownsville is located near the paper mill and for decades that's where many of those blue collar workers lived. Made good money but would rather hunt or fish than attend the theater. Over the years most of those folks retired or moved away and the influx of rental property was filled by a different type of individual. Hence, the dramatic rise in white trash crime. It's similar to the plight facing our Southsides in West Monroe and Monroe, though the racial demographics are different. Kids and old people trapped in both. Your city probably has these neighborhoods too.

Good description. Because of meth and a few other drugs and higher percentage of the children in the elementary school have low abilities and also tend to be more violent. Typically parents are absent or do not care. Worst school in parish to deal with. And that includes Monroe city schools.
