You and your type need to stop getting a boner every time someone tangentially connected to this administration gets into trouble.
Burke has been shoulder-deep in Chicago machine politics since my parents were in middle school. His only connection to Trump that I can figure out is that he's been the property tax adviser on the Chicago River Trump tower property since it opened in 2006.
The thing these articles aren't telling you is that Burke along with a small other coterie of people (the Madigans, for instance) control the property tax system with an iron fist, and every single developer big and small has had to go through this little cabal since Daley Sr. was in office. It's a racket, and the odds are that Ed Burke is getting caught up in garden-variety Chicago machine chicanery rather than something Trump-specific are about 99:1.
Also, notice that they raided his alderman's office at City Hall, not the actual law office.
