What I'm referring to are the convenient missed calls that allowed aTm back in the game and then the ones in OT to win. Those calls wouldn't happen to Bama, Auburn, or UF. NEVER. In the past, those calls wouldn't happen to LSU either when we played the likes of Ole Miss, Arky, aTm, etc

I know your take on this general topic, and I tend to agree. However, I'm not much on the conspiracy theory train in regards to this particular game. I thought it was an atrociously officiated game all around, with the majority going against LSU in pretty terrible times. That being said, what A&M got were second chances. They needed to make plays time and again in order to cash in on them, and they did.

Immediately after the game, ESPN was mocking LSU for the Gatorade bath, compared that to the Bluegrass Miracle years back, then they started with the "Up and coming Jimbo vs Saban" narrative. Jimbo's team gave Bama a fight. O's team put up another goose egg at home....

Hell...I kind of thought that myself to be honest.

LSU dropped another notch and it was plain as day to see.

Pay attention to the product/narrative the entertainment industry that owns the sport is pushing. Also, did you know aTm is the most valuable football program according to Forbes?

More valuable program, larger media market, known commodity as Head Coach....

LSU just dropped.

Again...we aided this with the hiring we've done since Miles was let go. We allowed this narrative to take place rather than continue to force the issue with an aggressive, well respected hire. We are now reaping what we've sowed in that regard I think.

Exactly on point. LSU fans think that the media are against us, but Jimbo at A&M makes for a better story line. He's served under Saban, he's won a natty, he "seem poised to build A&M and challenge Saban." It's not personal, it's just that there is absolutely nothing about O and his management of the program thus far that instills confidence about challenging Bama.
