He'd be out of his mf'ing mind! Devin if you are reading this please go get paid. I'll lose all respect for you if you come back and get paid like a freaking slave while LSU and the coaches make your money. If you are even considering returning, please check yourself into a mental health facility because you are in dire need of help. There is a very good likelihood all those head shots have made you insane.

Overreact much?

Glenn Dorsey returned for his senior year. Worked out pretty well for him. He was a projected first round pick too.

I do not doubt that he loves LSU and legitimately wants to have one more year here. But with that being said, once the season ends and he actually sits down and looks at everything, he'll leave. Which is the right move for him.

I remember when OBJ said he was coming back to. Admittedly this does feel a little different as OBJ, if I remember correctly, made one comment late night after the last game and went on to delete it.

The only reason he would return for his senior year is because "We Coming"

You don't know shite. You're just hedging your bets. He is 100% serious about coming back.

Devin isn't some poor kid from some dysfunctional hood. He's a country boy.

This is the only fact that creates him returning as a possibility in my mind.

Country folks are different. It's more about what they see as right and wrong vs money.

That said, good for Devin. He can't make a wrong choice, honestly. If he goes pro, he'll make millions and he deserves it. If he stays, he'll have another great year and make millions next year. I don't think, say, the Clemson d-linemen regret coming back for their senior years. There's something to be said for one last year of playing for your school before it becomes, officially, a business.

Correct

Agree with everything you said so that probably puts it at 50/50. I have some inside sources and he is legitimately serious about coming back though.

If he is thinking about returning, it shows great commitment and character and even more of a reason why he is one of my favorite Tigers ever.

But....

If he really considering a return, O should pull him aside and make it clear that if he does return he will lose his scholarship.

The guy needs to go. He is a projected top 5-10 pick, at a position with an exceptionally short NFL lifespan.

No way he should risk millions of dollars for one more year in college.

It is just stupid. And while I admire anyone who wants to stay for heir senior year, someone needs to make sure he doesn’t. There is absolutely zero upside to it.

And before someone screams about education, he can finish his education AND leave for the draft. They are not mutually exclusive.

Coach O and anyone with any sense would have to recommend to Devin White to go pro.

The risk is higher than the rewards economically.

However, if Devin chooses to stay that is his decision and not all decisions are made based on economics.

People keep saying this but can't point out a single instance of someone getting injured and not going to the NFL

the team will be loaded offensively and defensively next year and could legitimately challenge for the SEC champ and playoffs.
Except that we'll have the same QB, head coach, OC (probably), and Bama will still have Tua and Saban.
