I agree. But water cannon and rubber bullets against the leading elements of women and children on worldwide TV is all the liberals could hope for. No win situation.

Two things: First, the Left and media will be shocked at the resounding non-concern among Middle America. In fact, most Americans will outright support it.
Second, if this happens soon it will have lost all impact by 2020. In modern ADD America, outrage lasts until the next manufactured crisis.
Trump should hold firm. There is absolutely no political downside to forcefully turning these invaders away.
