The Donald with another lie this morning

Seriously, this morning's tweet reveals three things about Trump that should be obvious to anybody:
- his constant need to lie, lie, lie
- his pathological need to be thought of as wise (which also explains his pathetic "raking the forests" comment)
- his constant need to defend his previous stupidities (too many to count) by then adding what he feels is clarifying (but lying) context
Consider this tweet:
Donald J. Trump
?
@realDonaldTrump
Of course we should have captured Osama Bin Laden long before we did. I pointed him out in my book just BEFORE the attack on the World Trade Center. President Clinton famously missed his shot. We paid Pakistan Billions of Dollars & they never told us he was living there. Fools!..
Well, guess what. No, you didn't, you lying orange buffoon. In fact, your one mention of bin Laden in your book was rather dismissive of the risk he was being painted.
Here's that one mention:
"Instead of one looming crisis hanging over us, we face a bewildering series of smaller crises, flash points, stand offs, and hot spots. We’re not playing the chess game to end all chess games anymore. We’re playing tournament chess - one master against many rivals. One day we’re assured that Iraq is under control, the UN inspectors have done their work, everything’s fine, not to worry. The next day the bombing begins. One day we’re told that a shadowy figure named Osama bin Laden is public enemy number one, and U.S. jet fighters lay waste to his camp in Afghanistan. He escapes back under some rock, and a few news cycles later, it’s on to a new enemy and a new crisis."

Why didn't you include his entire quote from his book, Rex?
Trump wrote in his June, 2000 book, The America We Deserve, "I really am convinced we're in danger of the sort of terrorist attacks that will make the bombing of the Trade Center look like kids playing with firecrackers. No sensible analyst rejects this possibility, and plenty of them, like me, are not wondering if but when it will happen."
Trump devoted a section of the book to keeping America safe from terrorism, arguing it was the biggest threat to national security.
"Whatever their motives — fanaticism, revenge — suffice it to say that plenty of people would stand in line for a crack at a suicide mission within America," he writes. "In fact the number of potential attackers grows every day. Our various military adventures — some of which are justified, some not — create new legions of people who would like to avenge the deaths of family members or fellow citizens."
Then he went on and even named OBL as a likely terrorist who would direct an attack on the U.S.
"One day we're told that a shadowy figure with no fixed address named Osama bin Laden is public enemy number one, and U.S. jet fighters lay waste to his camp in Afghanistan," Trump writes. "He escapes back under some rock, and a few news cycles later it’s on to a new enemy and new crisis."

He wrote those quotes in his book in June, 2000. Once again in your attempt to belittle Trump, you've actually confirmed he had amazing foresight into what faced us.

Things never change around here. It's why very intelligent and very literate Democratic posters have fled.

Just stupid, I think.
Can't be that stupid, even autonomic nervous system would fail in that case...must be extremely blind.

I'm sure you realize this already but you just proved Trump correct.
How silly.

I asked the question a few days ago wondering if it was just me, or did others notice the decline in coherence of liberal/leftie comments? They've gone from, at least trying to sound like they have a point, to 1 or 2 sentences of gibberish.

You call Trump a liar, but then proceed to contradict yourself with his own quote, as a fact towards your claim.... you've got to just be a big troll..

Two things about your skyscreaming that are incorrect.
1. BinLaden was in fact killed in Pakistan, so he was hiding out in that country.
2. Clinton did have an opportunity to take out Bin Laden before 9-11. Col Robert Patterson was the Air Force Attache assigned to Clinton on that day. (He had the nuclear football). They had eyes on intel that placed BinLaden at a training camp in Afgan. Sandy Berger was going ballistic in the WH Situation room wanting to get Presidential okay to take him out. Clinton was too busy trying to rub elbows at the Rider Cup and couldn't be bothered. We had tomahawk missles and Navy pilots literally sitting in cockpits of F-18's waiting to take off. Patterson tried to get Clinton to phone Berger but Clinton said he would call him back. When Clinton finally called Berger, we had lost the window of opportunity and Bin Laden was gone.
