Horrible on the way over there. The flight from JFK to Kef is only about 5 hours, but due to the 5 hour time change, it is basically a red eye flight.
He slept in his carseat for about an hour but refused to sleep after that. We were still trying to catch a few hours of sleep so him being totally awake really worked our nerves. He got restless and screamed when we held him. He just wanted to run around. He screamed a little while then fell asleep in my wife's arms. She proceeded to cry, lol.
I got no sleep. None, till the next night.
The way back, he was fine. We kept him awake on the long flight and he passed TF out on the JFK to ATL flight.
