Your story isn't entirely accurate.

GARY CROWTON didn't think he could play QB at LSU.

Ensminger liked him as a QB, but wasn't making the decisions on who to recruit at QB, so he kept recruiting him as a TE.

Eventually this difference of opinion on Dak's QB ability played a part in Crowton being relieved of his duties.

Dak did get offered as a QB very late but it was too late.

Actually Zak was really heavy his junior year (265? If I remember correctly). He even admits he was too heavy to be recruited by the big schools. So I understand the staffs reluctance.

Even you savior a Saban missed on some. Hell, Vince Young wanted to come here but Saban only wanted him as a wide receiver. So I guess he’s a idiot slso
