It is ridiculous the amount of stuff that they lower the flag for these days. Most of which are against the flag code. It has gotten to the point that flag spends at much time at half mast as it does at full mast.
First time I noticed this was when MLK's wife died and Clinton ordered them lowered. It has become a joke IMO.
