That may have been the most impressive 3 point shooting team I have seen....and most were contested to some extent. Last year, we lose this game. Tonight, we hit about 90% of free throws which made the difference. Our team looks GREAT!! Unlike past years, I feel no let off when our subs come in. We got a ton of mfers who can play! Gonna be a fun year!!!

We had 100% free throw shooting until about 2 minutes left on the clock. Very impressive!

Will wade is amazing.. I. The press conference after the southeastern game when talking about the kid hitting all those threes.. “i know the fans loved that but we were embarrassed, if they think that is impressive just wait until those cats from unc Greensboro come in, they’ll put on a show”

He was right... once again. Great win

It absolutely did because the other team, on the contrary, shot worse from the stripe than they did 3pt land.

They shot FT’s well last year too. That and rebounding won LSU the game because they were absolutely atrocious guarding the 3, which was a BIG problem last year.

UNCG is a good team. And you give LSU a bit of a pass because they are playing so many new guys. But this team can’t have poor defensive games like that against SEC caliber teams if they want to accomplish big things.

Scoring wasn’t a problem last year. There are too many gifted players this year for it to be a problem. But, defense is going to determine how far this team goes. Last night was a disappointment in that dept.

When can you remember a LSU basketball team winning a game on free throws. I am not talking a couple of shots at the end. We are talking making free throws over the course of the entire game. This is a impressive team that will only get better.
