I like Chris Christy, but President Trump needs more than a loyal AG, he needs a loyal, rabid dog to wreck shop.

He's fat and undisciplined. That's why.

Trey Gowdy should be the only choice

The big part goes back to one of the early presidential primary debates where he had this exchange with Rand Paul on constitutional criminal procedure. Chris Christie was very much in favor of no-knock warrants, domestic spying, and warrant-less wiretaps and surveillance. Rand Paul cautioned about how those instruments could be turned on the law abiding for political reasons. Christie scoffed and brought up 9/11 like a jackass. Rand Paul turned out to be right when it was discovered Trump's campaign was being victimized via the same processes Christie was advocating for.

I think Rudy's had a stroke. He could hardly form a cogent thought last time I saw him on Fox. Either that or he was drunk.

Absolutely not. I heard him speak at Politicon and the dude is a snake. Far to many people in trumps admin detest him so his name wouldn’t even be brought up.

I am no fan of him as governor, but this would be a good selection.
He is a former federal prosecutor with a good reputation in corruption cases. He won multiple cases against public officials.
He has been in the limelight and can take the heat. He won't be intimidated by anyone.
Before bashing him as a possibility, take a look at his record as a prosecutor. Could be a good pick.
