but yes I still do believeTom Brady is the goat...but Belicheck is also arguably the GOAT. Saban is a mentor of belicheck......let's not swing away from the topic...

I get what you’re saying, my point is just it’s not JUST Ensminger as it’s not JUST the personnel. I can sit here right now and make a legitimate argument for why Ensminger is the problem just as well as I could make an argument that the players are the problem. But the truth is it’s both, both sides have to be better.

Yes but could you argue that we would have beaten Alabama with their offensive players with our scheme?

answer is no.

You are right though. It you put the 2013 offensive players on this team, that Bama game is close as frick. Don't know about a win or loss, but we'd easily compete with them. It pisses me off that we made Bama look way better than they are.

Problem with that is that you don't get those type of guys every year. Even in 2012, almost that entire 2013 unit had problems.

Scheme does need to be better though. We've had one good offense in the past decade (2011). We've had one great offense the past decade (2013).

I will tell you right now that the OL, QB, WR, RB (Helaire), getting experience this year will pay HUGE dividends next year. Adding Tyrion Davis at RB will also boost our run game tremendously there. He is a legit SEC type RB. Speed, power, and hands out of the backfield. Adding Kardell Thomas will be effective in beefing up the OL and Rosenthal could see starting time at tackle next year.

Ed needs to grow a spine and go in the off-season and grab Kendal Briles, Hugh Freeze, or Sterlin Gilbert. Put Ensminger back at TE and let go of Sullivan (if he isn't already retiring). This offense is as bad as the 2014 offense but having such a good defense and kicking game masked that to many who don't pay attention. The Ensminger experiment is over.

There are guys out there that have proved that they can turn an offense around in literally a year's time. We already partially started the spread transformation, so it won't be some drastic change and uphill battle. LSU can get WAY better on offense in just one year's time, they just have to do what it takes to make that happen.
