We are for covering pre-existing conditions. The Democrats are lying about the GOP being against it. The special interest groups lie about it too, to hurt Republicans. It is standard now in Insurance. I know.

So, in a nutshell, the lack of the individual mandate means some healthy people won't get insurance. Covering pre-existing conditions means that insurers can't turn unhealthy people away and/or raise premiums too high. And, if the subsidies eventually disappear, rich people won't chip in to the pool.
This is basically a recipe for the highest possible premiums for the average American.

Ok....
Then what was the point of fighting the ACA. Including anything involving pre existing conditions is going to cost alot of $$$. That's why prior to the ACA, people with serious conditions were paying outrageous prices or simply couldn't afford it.
How will the GOP resolve the cost problem since ACA could not.
