Do prison guards kill prisoners and usually make it look like it was a suicide?

Do prison guards kill prisoners and usually make it look like it was a suicide? Or how exactly do these prisoners end up killing themselves in prison? Like what can they use to pull it off in the first place?

you been watching too many movies if you think prison guards are routinely killing prisoners and covering it up by making it look like suicide.

Take some of your blanket. wrap it around your neck really tight. Profit.

You can tear your blanket into strips and make a noose. Most prisoners aren't under 24 your surveillance and it only takes 5 minutes. There was a case several years ago of an Angola prisoner chewing his wrists badly enough to bleed to death. Where there's a will, there's a way.

If serious, this is ignorant. Short answer to "How exactly do these prisoners end up killing themselves in prison?" is a lot quicker and with much less resistance than killing fellow inmates which happens every day.

They hang themselves. Blanket noose tied to a high point. Pretty simple.

Do all prison guards kill prisoners and usually make it look like it was a suicide? No.
Have guards killed prisoners and made it look like a suicide? Without knowing of a specific case I can only assume and I am sure it has happened before.

Never been to jail, but it seems like prisoners are really creative when it comes to certain things. It doesn't take much to make some type of weapon so I would imagine it doesn't take much to create away to off yourself. Razor, towels (used to hang themselves), etc.
I would have to think that prison guards spend enough time at a jail that most of them would prefer to not do anything that could land them in there for good.

Prisons are full of murderers. Why would they try to make it look like a suicide when they have buildings full of patsies?

Prison guards are only smart enough to not get caught yet for their crimes... they are legit one step ahead of the criminals.

Not true, especially in the Federal Bureau of Prisons. There are high profile people all over those yards. Also, they are typically shot callers and have many followers. Gene Gotti walked the yard at Pollock, right here in LA. Mike Vick was in gen pop at Levenworth. I worked for the BOP for several years, suicides happen quite often with the bed sheet around the neck. Typical inmate that commits suicide according to our annual training? A white male in general population.
