He just said that they wouldn't be able to throw the ball and wouldn't be able to run the ball and Tua could either take the sack or try to run on a gimpy leg. LSU by two TDs.

He ended the segment well. He gave sound analysis and said that if Bama’s QBs are injured that they will struggle against our secondary. He also thinks our DL matches up well with their OL and that this crowd may be more hostile than even some of les’ biggest games. He didn’t outright say LSU would win but he’s definitely in the camp that it will be much closer than Vegas predicts.

Great to see he still roots for the team that made him, rather than having a bad taste in his mouth about the firing.

Being financially set for life surely has something to do with it. It's still surprising that he seems to be an unabashed fan. Smacker, too. I could see her carrying a grudge about her daddy being fired.

He started going into detail about how good our secondary is that it was going to present problems for Tua. When he stated that Alabama wasn’t going to be able to pass or run the ball Finebaum cut him off and went to a commercial

The part about watching it on TV where he can see every replay and if a player has his feet in bounds by more than a yard on an interception....

Classic Les

I listened to a couple of his podcasts with Smacker. He is still a huge LSU fan.

Let's take a moment and appreciate that even though LSU fired Miles, he is still one of LSU's biggest cheer leaders. Les Miles is one hell of man

And that's why, while I know it was time for him to go and he did have his shortcomings, I will always love the man.

He could easily be bitter or take shots at how the team is managed, but he instead shows genuine love for LSU.

What a dick Finebaum is, they’ve got a 4 hour show and they can’t let Les finish his thoughts.

Did anybody catch that verbal slip up by Les?

Paul said ‘Do you expect LSU to win?’ and Les said

‘Well, I certainly respect the program of the Alabama Crimson Tigers’ but.....

He said ‘Alabama Crimson Tigers’

I know because I’ve listened to it 10x over and it makes me realize I need to stop overanalyzing everything about this game. Come on Saturday!!!
