re: Dad Christmas Ideas 2018

Last year for Christmas my daughter gave me NASCAR School at Texas Motor Speedway. There are others around the country but this is the only one with nascar Motors. The others run Corvette Motors. Plus my brother in law is an instructor so I’m sure she got a deal. I did program 4A-10 lap driving and 4 lap with a driver. 150 mph on the wall will get your arse tight. Not that expensive $328.00. I think it was cheaper on special then too.

For Father’s Day she gave me tickets to The Eagles in New Orleans for just us two and that was really great.

For my birthday she gave me a trip with Theophile Bourgeois which we are doing in a couple weeks. Not the float plane-which my wife has done several times-my kid won’t get on that plane.

We all just decided we for the most part have all the things we need so we would rather do adventures together. We guail and chuker hunt, duck hunt,, deer hunt with each other and love it.

Bucket list includes: Montana fly fishing, hiking a portion of Appalachian Trail, a good Colorado elk hunt.


Then we each get a cardboard box from Home Depot and fill with various items-t shirts, socks, toiletries, coats, etc...and bring them to St. Vincent De Paul. And of course deliver food to the food bank. It is very gratifying to do this as a family.
