Going to the Dartmouth vs Princeton game this weekend Should be a great game even though its Ivy Leauge... There are rumblings around here in Princeton that the Ivy league might end there ban on postseason play in the next year or 2 .. Where would Princeton be this year if they were allowed to be in Playoffs?
Posted on 10/29/18 at 3:28 pm to Icceytiger
Princeton would be around 20/21 actual seed but using what I use the rankings for here and now they would play on the road at Towson.
I think the Ivy would like to get in but it is only Princeton's coach sounding off from what I have read. He said they wanted a challenge earlier, but never backed it up, the MEAC jumped on that story like it was going to happen.

There was a huge meeting in Princeton this weekend with all the heads of the Ivy League, and Football postseason was a huge topic.. Its not Just Princeton and Yale for once wanting more, Dartmouth and Harvard talking about it more and more now .. so will be interesting

Hell of a game by McNeese over the weekend. First game i got to attend due to work. Defense is fast. They can hang with the top 10 teams in the country, but not the top 5, IMO.
Orgeron put a spark in that offense for the first half. Wide receivers don’t get much separation but short, quick passes helped with that and the OC got away from it. He needs to be canned.
All in all, now that I’ve got to watch them, I think they’re a playoff team, but they’re not a national championship team

yeah the OC situation is a mess.
Ogeron has mobility and that will help with plays where the WRs arent open. They need to keep it going this week. They always play poorly at SE

The experts pick what the bracket will look like. McNeese gets a break but UCA Nicholls in the annual lets knock out one of the SLC and pair them with a MVC Invitational. Then in lower half we get the MVC Invitational. Its an okay bracket, but there are some teams that do not belong in my opinion.
Central Arkansas at Nicholls first-round winner at No. 1 seed North Dakota State
Towson at North Carolina A&T first-round winner at No. 8 seed Delaware
Southeast Missouri at McNeese first-round winner at No. 5 seed Weber State
ETSU at Jacksonville State first-round winner at No. 4 seed Kennesaw State
Wofford at Elon first-round winner at No. 3 seed James Madison
UNI at North Dakota first-round winner at No. 6 seed South Dakota State
Sacred Heart at Stony Brook first-round winner at No. 7 seed Colgate
San Diego at Eastern Washington first-round winner at No. 2 seed UC Davis

Bold the MVC and SLC teams/players. If it is a Southern or Grambling player I will italics. I feel it makes it easier to spot when just skimming through.

Wow..surprised to see Kennesaw State doing so well already as a pretty young program. Good for the Hooters!

Total Offense
1 Devlin Hodges, Samford (SoCon) 412.3
2 Anthony Lawrence, San Diego (Pioneer) 348.1
3 Tom Flacco, Towson (CAA) 346.4
4 Caylin Newton, Howard (MEAC) 335.6
5 Tanner Gueller, Idaho St. (Big Sky) 321.6
I miss Samford being ranked in the FCS polls as well as being in contention for the playoffs as was the case most this decade, hopefully they win this weekend in the Homecoming Game gotta finish the season honorably, Devlin's been such a beast for us

Well, if we could get past the 1st round, we'd have a chance against Weber. I believe we are 3-1 all-time against Weber, and something like 7-4 in the state of Utah.
