Late last night I was sitting down with my friends posting on TD, then a question was asked when an OP posted a thread, this is how it goes:
if you only had 8 weeks to live, what would you do, and I looked around at all of my friends and smiled 'cause they knew.
We'd be sitting at a bar drinking Coor's light sucking on a fat blunt packed thick rolled tight talking to the fine arse girl that's sitting right next to me. Starting shite with people that could beat us writin' songs about it. Lord I hope I'm still alive the day that I die.
I hope my death is far away. I hope I live to see another New Years Day. I hope my kids will sing the same songs that were sang by me but I know taste will always change. Pour out a cold one for me the day that I die.

In January 2003 I was diagnosed with brain cancer and given 6 weeks to live. I did my own research, found the world's best doctors to seek treatment and continued to live my life. Those were the best decisions I could have made. I'm still alive and kicking as a result.

I've got CLL so this has crossed my mind quite a bit.
My wish would be go to cash out, go to Vegas and drink/drug til I can't stand any more. Go back home, find a quiet little cabin on the waterfront until I pass.
I guess It would depend on how I felt though.

I’d be too worried about some Joe vs the Volcano kind of mistake. It’d suck if I do some murdering and raping and then find out the doctor was wrong and I’m not dying, bc then I’m going to prison.
I don’t want to spend any of my final days in jail so I’d hold off on the murdering until last.

The best friend I’ve ever had was told he had 8-12 weeks to live on October 16, 2013. He made it to December 2, 2013 before he succumbed to terminal cancer at the ripe age of 35 leaving behind a gorgeous wife and two previous kids. I’m crying as I type this thinking of him, just like I do damn near every day of my life. Some days I laugh, but then it turns to tears rejoicing and thinking.
