Wife's 30th birthday looking at taking her to one of these (add puerto Vallarta). Just got back from Isla which was awesome. Any of these have same vibe? Which one would you pick and why? Like to Eat, Drink and site see. Thanks

Ambergris Caye, Belize. You can also visit Caye Caulker for a day.
Have fun.

Did Cozumel/Belize/Roatan/ Cayman Islands in late May. I enjoyed Belize more than any other port.

I would say Caye Caulker, Belize is the most similar to Isla.
Tulum is great too. Different vibe though, and the beach hotels and restaurants are much more expensive than Belize/Isla.

Puerto Rico. Great rates now and they could use the tourism. A few nights in Old San Juan then head to Culebra.

If you like to eat or drink you can't do much better then Tulum. However you pay for it too. It's not cheap. One thing I would add is to be checking on the Sargasum reports. This is the seaweed like stuff that can pile up on the Beach. When I went last year their were some areas of this stuff piled up 5 feet for hundreds of yards. It stinks and also turns the water to a brown color. Luckily this happened on the last 2 we were their so we visited Ruins and Cenotes which were very cool.
