I'll probably try it.....anyone with a verdict on it yet?

The verdict is it's better than bouillon.

I use it...an open jar lasts a long time in the fridge, so it’s easier than premade liquid stock. You can add exactly what you need, or even add flavor w/o adding liquid. I use the roasted mushroom flavor often.

It’s the GOAT of store bought stocks.

Out of curiosity, what all do you use it on? I see they have a chili base. I made chili last night. I wish I would have known about this.

Any place where you’d use stock or broth....a spoonful of BTB and water.
Or a little of it in a dish that seems to lack depth, like a quick tomato sauce, or a soup, stew, or pan sauce.
Have never used the chili base, so I can’t speak to that.

I buy both the beef and chicken versions from Costco. A jar lasts me at least a year.

Just make your own from your own livestock. It’s not hard and much more rewarding.

Making a stock is so easy. I don't know why someone can't find the time to make it from scratch.

The chili base is great, I use in a lot of stuff. The ham, roast garlic and mushroom are good too.
My favorite was the Au Jus, so of course they stopped making it.

No. You know what is easy? Taking a spoonful of stuff and throwing it in water and you get stock that tastes good

This.
Simply set aside about 10-12 hrs of your day to simmer to perfection. What’s so hard about that?

I can use the little jars up in a week or 2 easily. I doubt the big ones last a year.

Of all the 'bases' on the market, Better Than Bullion is the best. In one sense it is an acceptable substitute, in another sense, it can't compare to a well prepared 'homemade' stock/broth. It has a very high salt content which needs to be taken into consideration when using it to prepare a dish. Refrigerated after opening, it will last for months. Enjoy it for what it is.

We always have a couple of jars in the fridge - chicken, beef, veggie, au jus. I coulda sworn I saw the au jus at the store last time I was shopping for stock. It always comes in handy.

No you're dimwitted because it takes you a year to through a jar of BTB. Use that shite man!!! It's delicious.
