I just wanted to give our ball coach credit for the backseat approach he's taken with this entire ordeal.
There's nothing he can do about it, so why go there? Not only has he moved beyond this for his team, but he gets to sit back and watch the fans (us) run with this. What wisdom?!
From Carville to the billboards to Herbstreit and what's still to come of all of it, this is great for LSU football.
I hope it continues to kickoff and all the other previous yet continuous Bama bullshite continues to come up.
Now, all they need to do is WIN!

With all this attention, the refs in the upcoming game will be under a microscope by all the viewers across the country. They better not frick up.

I hope not. Game Day gives the University and the Athletic Department a lot of exposure. It would be unfortunate if it didn't return bc some students chose to chant vulgarities (which takes no creativity at all).

There is something ugly about all this. And while a “hostile environment” is a part of the atmosphere and pageantry of college football, I wonder if we are not in danger of moving into the realm of South American soccer with riots and attacks on officiating crews.

I know that message boards are an alternate reality but I was surprised at the explosion and level of vitriol that came our way from last weekend. Their player got ejected on a controversial but technically correct call in game that didn't involve Alabama and they completely lost their collective minds. It's truly bizarre and yes, I have seen them post about hurting fans and players and refs.
They are unhinged loons. Hopefully the police will keep an eye on the retards.

Game day signs with large pics showing Bama cheating would be excellent stuff. The larger the better. Pics of all of the gumps in the SEC office with money bags or wads of cash in Alabama gear would also be appropriate imho.

Actually, the fans I know in real life ARE. They said they don't like it because they know LSU will play even harder than usual.
