With rain and 102,321 racing fans, that would be a massive advantage for LSU. Unfortunately I imagine a bunch of fans would leave early if there were rain, so that would ultimately hurt us.

If you’re an LSU fan with tickets that will leave if it rains, please sell your tickets now!!! I for one will not leave. Period.

I'm not exactly sure that wet weather guarantees us an advantage. Sloppy conditions usually favor the team with the better ground game, OL, and DL. That's Bama. It may impair Tua's passing abilities, but it would likely have the same effect on Burrow. Our receivers already struggle with catching a dry ball, and if we can't throw the ball with at least some success, we will not win.

Also, you're right about fans heading for the exits, or at least for cover, if it's raining steadily.
