Saints dominated from start to finish only the referees who are bought and paid for kept it close

Meh.
Our defense didn’t help but holding them to 17 for 3 and a half quarters isn’t too shabby I guess.
Offense was sluggish but got it together.
Good win!

Saints nearly double the amount of plays in this game versus the Titans. 70 (In addition to controling the time of possesion)30 minutes,,

refs did a good job today, i saw nothing to complain about, both teams get the same leeway and all calls were good calls

By referees, he means Dennis Allen's 3 man rush and Saints coverage busts.

Let me explain. Refs were SOLID. I mean they really were. Also, Balt dominanted the middle part of the game and then would have equalized us if the best kicker ive ever seen didnt have Drew’s Brees hook it away from where Brees was standing. Coincidence? I think not. He simply had to blow a gentle Brees out his mouth.

well something i never saw mentioned yet was on both of those last plays the saints d was out of position and trying to get lined up at the snap and that IMHO was a huge factor in the busted coverages.
the saints still had 2 time outs but decided not to call them and that what directly lead to the ravens score
you have time outs you wont need on offense, and the game is on the line, your players are gassed, and they not in position to be ready at the snap, SO CALL A FRICKING TIME OUT FOR CHRIST SAKE

The only thing is at the time you are looking at possibly getting the ball back with around 25-30 seconds left approximately. Having your 2 timeouts there gives you hope for 2 big plays and a long FG attempt. I just don't think in that situation you ever use a TO unless the play clock is stopped. I can't remember if it was or not on that last TD, if it was, then I agree they maybe should have used a TO. But even then, revert back to my first sentence. Brees has gotten us in FG with 30 seconds on the clock several times in his career, w/o having TOs available. I like our chances with 2 of them available and Ravens still needing to defend the entire field. but the kicker missed so all is good.
I do agree with your earlier statement about the refs, they did a good job yesterday and I've bashed them many of times after wins.

no that was only the first big play where they still had the ball with 30 seconds left trying to score. the second play down in the red zone they had 15 seconds left at the snap.
they could only tie the game at best, and we werent going to score with what, at the most 15-20 seconds left after kick off, and thats only if they scored on that first big play from the 40 with 30 seconds left on the clock.
no, under normal premis i understand what you are saying but this situation didnt fit into any scenario where the saints had the slightest need for time outs on offense and to counter your point as well as reinforce it, the saints absolutely needed to call both time outs on defense so they had a slim chance at another possession if ravens scored.
no matter which side you look at, needing time for another possession, or needing to get your defense set up and rested for stopping them from scoring, there was no excuse for not calling those time outs since there was going to be no time left in either case

I love when squirrels say this and cheapen what was a hard fought win, on the road, against a likely playoff team.

Save for maybe one questionable call against the Saints or even the Ravens could you point out the other issues with the refs ?
