I've never used uber before. We dont even have uber eats in Mobile.

I see now this is your debit card and a slightly different situation than mine.

They hacked into an old unused Uber account that was attached to my credit card and Paypal. This sounds like they have your debit card #.

I mean, your bank should just let you report the fraudulent activity and you'll eventually get your money. Cancel the card, of course. And I guess you better hope they were using your debit card and not a direct link to your bank account (like what Paypal would do).

As others said, this is why I use credit cards for everything. My bank is a small credit union so they make you go in person and complete a form and wait a ridiculously long time if there is fraudulent activity on your account. Whereas a credit card will reverse it immediately.
