I am very hesitant to step on the media's liberty in any way but it has gotten out of control. We don't even have a "free press" anymore. The entire major media apparatus in the US is controlled by the elite left.
The only thing I have thought about are laws that dole out escalating fines for each falsehood. The problem is how the falsehood is defined and who is defining it.

Yes they did. I remember and agreed with you. POTUS is still mentioning the first amendment abuse by the Press and wants to put an end to it. FAKE NEWS is what he calls it.
